I know it's so kind of trick with the numbers.....but I am still confused, lol!

It works because no matter what number you pick once you subtract the numbers from it you can only get a few different answers. The game puts the same "regift" under each of these numbers. For instance if you look at the game the same "regift" will be under numbers 9, 18, 27, 36 etc. Basically they're all multiples of 9. Make sense now?
Haha yes I knew how it worked when I posted it. But someone did let me in on the secret...
