Stupid Smoke Detector

Woke me up this morning at an ungodly hour, 6 a.m. Ungodly for my day off anyway, and considering I couldn't sleep well last night it proved especially lousy. And since the battery's low on the damn thing, it beeps every 20-40 seconds. So this morning, my adorably hubby took the smoke detector off and disconnected it. Still beeping. I told him to take it with him to work. Then he takes it and stuffs it in the back of the guest room closet. Genius. Glad I thought of it.
