Dirty Rotten Avocados...

In the trunk of my car! Grrr hubby left them there weeks ago and they slowly permeated my car with their pungent stench. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was; First I assumed the smell was me. I made sure to wash. Then, I presumed it was the bags of McDonalds takeout that sat in the front passenger seat for a week. (I'm sure these contributed to the smell in some way)Today, after the hubbs finally takes a ride in the car with me, he decides to investigate. We clean out my car and discover the nasty culprits. Ugh! And they ruined one of my favorite sweaters! Well, not really a favorite. I hadn't worn it in months. And I never liked it much when I did wear it. The one time. But still, I say DH owes me another one! We took the car to a DIY carwash and vacuumed the sucker. Now she's a beaut! That's what I call a productive day!

Yesterday was pretty awesome too. We went to the Grove and ate Singapore/Indian food at the Farmer's Market. It was so good! We had the Mee Goreng and the Vegetarian Curry with rice. After walking around briefly (I say briefly because Mr. Lexi refuses to peruse stores for an acceptable length of time to my liking) we went home and grabbed the bean and took him to the park! He loved running around in the grass. And I am fairly certain that a tree crapped on me. I swear. There weren't any suspicious looking birds or squirrels around, but something vile-smelling and green landed on my arm. Eww.

In the evening we finally went to see Slumdog Millionaire. We both loved it. I hope it wins the Oscar. We'll be watching tonight with the family (I especially love to see what everyone is wearing!). All in all, a great weekend!

I *love* the Grove and your dog is ridiculously adorable! Is it a maltipoo?

He says thanks! :-) And he's supposed to be full maltese, but I think he isn't since his hair's wavy and he's a little chunky!

Maltis are so cute! If we were to get a second dog it would probably be a Maltese. Our dog used to have a "boyfriend" that was a Maltese.

Oh and yes I got bored last night and totally read your entire back blogs, sorry!
